Feedback
Hi there,

I just finished playing this game and thought I would enter my feedback here which you can below:

Positive:
1. I love the concept of people calling you asking for help about different type of monsters in their home. Its such a simple concept that works brilliantly in a video game format and for the most part it was executed very well!
2. I thought the tone between comedy and horror was perfectly done. The calls are hilarious and scary at the same time and I found myself laughing at the matter of fact information written about all the different monsters that people could find in their homes.
3. I thought the difficulty level was pretty spot on as well. Some were quite easy but others you needed to think more closely about. All the information was there for the player so none of the answers were unfair.
4. Having an unlimited amount of time to spend looking into the possible answers was also a fantastic idea and one which I really appreciate it as a player. Thankfully the callers were very patient!
5. I loved the look of the game in its 90's feel, the blurry videos and the artwork really helped to picture the monsters in the homes.
6. The consequence calls were also hilarious and helped let players know their answer was wrong while not taking us out of the game.
7. Voice acting and writing was also pretty much spot on. The actors were all fantastic and sound felt appropriate to the time and really helped me believe I was in a call centre in the 90's!
8. The option to skip text was also a great choice considering the player will probably repeat the day several times.
9. While i didn't use this option I did like the option to remove pictures of insects and creatures due to phobias to particularly thoughtful so it was nice to see this option.

Constructive Feedback:
1. Having to repeat each day if you got a few answers wrong did get annoying after a while. I understand there needed to be some consequences and i do appreciate this option was removed once you finished the game but having to repeat the day from the start got quite frustrating so maybe a middle ground or different difficulty options from the start would have been helpful.
2. The biggest problem for me with this game was the fact the game did not save at all except for checkpoints after each day. For me this should not be acceptable as it makes it extremely difficult for people like me with very limited free time to progress in a game. The fact that the game did not save during the day meant that multiple times i needed to replay again and again and this unfortunately ultimately ruined my enjoyment of the game. It made the game repetitive and quite frustrating to play not knowing if i would be able to finish the chapter in time. Granted the overall game is relatively short and the chapters are short as well but if you spend the time to properly read each entry it took me between 30 and 45 minutes to play through a chapter. especially towards the end. On day 6 i only had 30 minutes to play so since the game did not save I needed to rush through the last few calls. In the end I got the last few calls wrong and so I needed to replay the entire chapter from the start. I very nearly rage quit and uninstalled the game there and then but went back to it a few days later and finished the game with a walkthrough. It was a shame because i hadn't used a walkthrough until this point but the lack of saves meant that I didn't feel like i had a choice. My recommendation would be to include manual saves or at the very least have the game autosave after every call. The devs could also include an option to save or play through the entire chapter without saving as this would have been very helpful for people without a lot of free time.

Would like to seer:
1. While this is not exactly an issue with the game I would love to have an endless mode even without voice acting. This would mean more work for the dev I understand but I would love to play a version of this game in endless more if one were to become available.

So overall there were plenty of positives about this game but the as I mentioned in detail above the fact there were no saves during the chapters ultimately ruined my enjoyment of the game and made me rush through the end of the game. It was a huge shame as I was enjoying the game and love the concept. As it stands I cannot give this a thumbs up but don't have the heart to give a thumbs down on the store page for an indie game that was clearly a labour of love. I don't expect any changes made to the game based on this feedback but i hope some of this feedback is useful. Despite my criticisms of this game I hope the game does well and I wish the developer luck in his future projects.
