can you get a black diablos egg in a random nest?

or do I have to make a black diablos flee to get it?? since they don't seem to spawn at all for me in the wild, I have to call them with a qurupeco, wich gets tiresome...

It is possible.

However, it is easier to get it if you can make the monster flee to their Den.

You can find Black Diablos in both random dens in Monsonne Plains as well as the Desert (Yellow Dens are your better bet though)

Retreating is still your best bet if you can find a Black Diablos since its a guaranteed egg if you do

I've had pretty good luck with rare dens, I just skip every egg until I get the one I want, usually in 2-3 rare dens I manage to get the egg I'm looking for
