Im a little confused

So about this... i dont know if i mentally dumb or not cause i been trying to use the patch on discord and twitter. All i get was update failed, already tried over 100 times already and is still not working. I forgot to duplicate my data but that's not the point, i dont care about my data. I just dont know why does it keep saying new version update failed. And no, is not computer outdated or anything, it just show me the file i have is basically not old but new. I am currently confused and don't know how to get the patch ;w;

There are two patchs: one is for if you own the DLC and one if you do not. If you own the DLC, the patch states something about removing all previous data or something so that it can install properly. If you dont own the dlc, then using the other patch is what you will need. (might not hurt to also start the game up first before installing patch)

In hope to make you feel better: you are not the only one. And this isn't the only game. The publisher have confused many other users the same way, just check some of the other games to see there are people with the same issues due to the same confusion.

Anyways. Hope you enjoy the game. The more you play (learn) the easier and more fun it gets. Plus, story-wise, it will make more and more sense
