Turn order in online play among friends

Am I missing something? In bot games and pass-and-play, I can specify who goes first or set turn order to random. When I invite my friends to play online, as the host I'm the first player by default and I can't seem to find a way to change this. Is there really no way to randomize turn order when playing online?

Not yet, but I believe its being worked on. What you could do is randomise who goes first between you and have them set up the game instead of you.
For instance http://www.random.org/lists/ does a good job of what you're looking for.

That would be a good idea, except that I'm the only one with the expansions so I have to host if we want to play with them. We play the board game IRL, and this was just for nights where we couldn't physically get together, so we don't want to spend more than we have to having everyone get all of the expanions. Hopefully it's a feature they add soon, since they already have the functionality in offline play.
