Are we ever going to see the 1.02 update?

Ever since launch of this game, I've been unable to play online. Single player works fine however. Whilst looking for a fix, I came across update 1.02, which Ubisoft released themselves. My only problem is, downloading the executible doesn't work for me. When I run it, it can't detect the game, despite it being installed through steam. If only Steam itself would update the game, or if I could somehow manually patch the game, that would be helpful. Does anyone know how to open up the exe and move the data to where it needs to go?
Will we ever see the update through steam? Is anyone else having online issues like me?

I was under the impression we already got patch 1.02 on release, all of us steam users.
Edit: Yes, I remember now, we did, about 3 weeks ago.

Ah, I was told we got 1.01 on release, and that we needed 1.02 to get some features to work. Any way to check what version I have, because no online features are working for me, and I've tried everything.

To get online, check your network settings. I had a couple extra interfaces that didn't have a connection to the internet and apparently Blacklist tried to go through those... I disabled them and it worked perfectly the next time i played.
