Its fixed for me, maybe gove that a try, if it don't work then sorry but at least it was worth a try.

Simply because you never toyed with the sound options enough for it to happen to you.
BUT FEAR NOT PEOPLE, THE FIX IS HERE!!!
The reason people get this issue is because you've played with the Audio setup inside the game.
Here is how you solve it. Simply turn up your SFX to 8. ( as that's apparently the audio for the "cutscene screens", and for gunfire and everything else related to that. )
