around is to add -offline -offline_mode to the launch options.
So given that forcing offline mode is the probably fix it's probably being caused
by the game trying to 'phone home' and failing to find whatever it's looking for.
Maybe a server or a closed port which is no longer being opened or left open
on Win 10.
Sure, you want to open up Ubisoft Connect, click the three dots ". . ." for Splinter Cell Blacklist, in your Library. Manage > Properties, paste "-offline -offline_mode" in the "Add launch arguments" section and click close.
Since I did that, it's been crash free ever since. It worked a couple of times through Steam, but after that it didn't stop until I added those parameters.
