WTF is wrong with the Ubisoft Connect servers... I am unable to play co-op with my friend...
1. not able to view leaderboards
2. not able to check my online friends
3. can't do a thing that requires a f**king internet..
please can anyone help me out with this...

I have a suggestion somebody mentioned if you'd like to give it a try?
if you do; let us know if it worked.

Ok so uninstall the ubisoft connect client/game launcher.
Install this version https://uplay.en.uptodown.com/windows/download/3756078 but do not run it.

In the folder that is installed to; find version.txt & make sure the entry in there is 10507, save it.

Now run the game directly from the .exe & see if you can connect to online stuff.

IDK what you're talking about, since the only "version" file I see is version.ini and it has a bunch of different parameters. Which one/s of these should be changed, then?

No bro... No luck
Tried that thing as you said it... but still the ubisoft connect automatically updates itself and the same message pops up when I try playing online..

They no longer use UPLAY, they use a UBISOFT CONNECT launcher so you will need to uninstall that app and download the correct one going forward.

Ubi support says that they are aware of that but they dont know when it will be fixed so we need to wait i guess

Well, I paid good money for my game. The least they could do is not make it have online-only DRM.

Ironically enough, Conviction is actually playable without forcing LAN mode lmao. However, I had used Hamachi to play it with my friend. So maybe that's why it worked.

I tried conviction on Hamachi, used the LAN in menu but we couldnt find each other game despite being connected on hamachi without any issues

did you manage to play Conviction coop on hamachi after the servers were closed?
