won't download

I will move it to download in my download menu and it will update for about 5 seconds and go back to the queue. there are no other games in the queue.

I finally got it after restarting steam a few times and just clicking the ♥♥♥♥ out of move to top of queue.

I can't download the game either. It will start downloading for a few seconds and then it gives me a message saying there was an error while trying to update splinter cell blacklist. Anyone having the same message pop up, or is it just kicking the game out of queue? Hopefully this is fixed soon :( really was looking forward to playing this after work

It keeps kicking the game out of queue. A message only pops up when I press play, 'an error occurred' etc.

Switch your download region/content server. Steam > tools > downloads > download region.
Restart steam and mine started downloading perfectly. 50% so far.

this works. probably just overloaded servers or something. i just restarted steam a couple times and spammed it to front of que and it worked in like three minutes

just got it a few hours ago. It downloaded about a Gb and then stopped, Tried running it, I get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ error message. Tried everything it suggested. WTF?

just fixed the issue as my roommate was suffering from it..

exit Steam, right click steam and run as administrator, go to your library and right-click the game, press delete local content, than tell to to install again

installed fine afterwards
