Hey, I've tried to do that, but when I open up the exe and look for "fov" it just says "reached end of file!".

Is there another exe? I was trying that on the blacklist launcher.

The main issue is if you might have to reverify your game cache if it detects an altered .exe file since this game also has a sizable MP portion. Steam might think it is a hack, so be careful...

P.S. -- The FOV in this game doesn't bother me because this is a slower paced game and they already give you enough tools for situational awareness (Sonar Goggles, Radar) and you want to be up close and personal whenever Sam does a take down.

The multiplayer FoV is outright unacceptably broken, so I wasn't even gonna go near that.

However it would have been nice to push that FoV up to 85-90 degrees in SP.

open up just blacklist exe and the first one you find is desired fov. change that. you cant play online with it, but itll change it for the singleplayer.

My windows explorer is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥, I really can't seem to find blacklist.exe.

Can you tell me where it's located.

Steam\SteamApps\common\Splinter Cell Blacklist\src\system\blacklistgame.exe

open that in HxD, search for fov and youll find desiredfov=75. change that to 100 and save. it will make a copy. when you wanna play online, just rename the altered exe to have .bak at the end and take the bak part of the original off

I tried changing the value of desiredfov in blacklistgame.exe, but it didn't work. There was no discernible difference between 10, 75, and 99 (the values I tested).

Basically, I get something like this all the time, regardless of the value of desiredfov:

it worked for me, I used the following command

DesiredFOV=110.0.DefaultFOV=75.0

but for it to work you have to start from zero, which means you have to delete your old savegame

the savegame was located at = C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\unique-uplay-id-characters\449

I simply deleted the whole 449 folder.
