Questions about the game...
First off, what's the co-op like?
Is it full campaign? Or stand alone multiplayer missions?
If my friend and I get the game can we easily play together?

Second, time limit. The story talks about stopping the Blacklist before time runs out.
Is the game actually timed? Or is it just story stuff?
Do you have a limited number of missions or something?

Third, what's the mission system like?
Is it just a linear set of missions? Or do you get choices like with Alpha Protocol (awesome game).

Fourth, the stuff that comes with the deluxe game... is any of that worth it?
Are they unique items you only get with the deluxe version? Or is it stuff that you can eventually unlock normally in the game?

And the DLC... is it worth it?

I would also like to know about the co op in comparison to Conviction. any help would be great

There is a coop-only campaign and solo/coop standalone missions with Briggs and Fisher. The solo/coop missions separate into Grimmsdottir missions (no alarms allowed), Kobin missions (eliminate targets lethal/non-lethal; similar to Deniable Ops in Conviction), and Charlie missions (20 waves of enemies). The game uses Uplay to invite friends, but I haven't had any problems. There's also an option to matchmake a coop partner, but that highly depends on the pool of players.

There is no time limit per se. As you progress through the singleplayer you see the time go down, but it's not like it's realtime or anything.

The campaign missions are linear, there's no alternate set of missions based on choices if that's what you're asking. The freedom they do give you for mostly the whole game is how you do the mission. They divide playstyles into Ghost, Panther, and Assault. Before you start each mission you can gear towards any of the three. Some missions are stealth only.

I got the Deluxe Edition because it was on sale at the time. There's some extra suits (has the suit from Chaos Theory!), extra weapons, 2 Kobin missions. The only thing I really cared about were the missions, the rest is either aesthetic or worse performing than what you would get normally.

Ah, so the co-op campaign is separate from the regular singler player campaign then?

I've not played any of the Splinter Cell games. So my closest experience would be with games like Alpha Protocol and the Deus Ex games.

Is MP dead on PC?

Closest game in that regard would be Alpha Protocol, however this is leaps and bounds above it gameplay-wise, although don't expect a Mass Effect like RPG system or conversations trees.

The co-op campaign is seperate from the main game, and I can't remember how many levels there actually are, although I can't remember there being a lot.

That said though, the entire game does pack in quite a lot when taking into account the variety of options. I was disapointed with the length of the main campaign however, although it is of extremely high quality.

I've said it in another thread, but it really is the best game Ubisoft have put out in years, easily.
