Single Player Side Missions
I'm newish to this game. I'm right that there's no saving yeah? So, how's everyone else managing the side missions, just fine? Only, I've been trying the Hawkins Sea Fort side mission a few times now, because it seems you only have to make one little mistake, even when you're quite a way into it, and it chucks you back to the start! Especially that mission coz you can't trip an alarm or even just be seen! I gather that completing these side missions gets you extra goodies, so they're quite important. I manage the main missions ok I think, tho there's saving in them, but these side missions can just get too repetative and frustrating for one session, when you're kicked back to the start from 3/4 the way thru, for the third time. So I just quit, go do something else, and start all over again when I have a large enough block of time to spend on them. Trouble is, it's a lot of hours for very little reward. :)

Thanx terminator, tho in the Seafort one, I was being cautious, yet I still tripped a red laser beam somehow! Still don't see how. :)

Thanx terminator. That's me not concentrating enough, should've known that! Previous Splinter Cells, you had to dodge the lasers. :)

In my opinion, the worst 4E missions are Briggs'. Not only do you HAVE to coop them, but it's easy to loose out on non-detection or no-kill achievements if the other guy gets careless or douchy.

Thanx PhellAsleep. When you're in co-op, can you talk via mic.? If so, you should be able to sort a strategy together, no? I've been reluctant to do any co-op yet, until I'm a bit more sorted, but I should try it soon tho, see what the deal is. :)

Thanx terminator. I know what you mean, and it's surprising just how different various game communities can be! Would have expected Splinter Cell to have quite a responsible player group tho, but in any group, there are always the exeptions. :)
