DS4 Controller not working

I'm using InputMapper to play with my ps4 controller but all of the controls are incorrect, R2 pauses the game?!

Any idea how to correct the controls? Using inputmapper and my ds4 works perfectly fine on every other game.

I'm pretty sure there was no encryption key when I downloaded it at the time, I would have note it.
I'm sorry if it was not and I just forget about it.
With a bit of research I can't find it anymore and I don't have the courrage to spend hours of investigations again. It should be somewhere though. Good luck on your searching.

Absolutely don't know how steam's forums work and if someone will read my message one day, I suppose not. I just bough SC:B and I have the same problem as you had: a wrong control biding. It's been a hot minute since I fixed this, but it looks like if you use DS4 Windows make sure the "Hide DS4 Windows" box is ticked. I don't know if that'll fix it for you, but that's what did it for me

so I did what is said in this post and it worked to some degree now it works as long as you don't was the drone when you use it boom the controller no longer works why I don't know, that is where I'm now can someone help me.

This discussion is very old, but I thought that I would add some input on how to fix issues with DS4 controller not working with Splinter Cell Blacklist, here's my guide - hope it works!

ONLY FOR NVIDIA USERS

1. Download DS4Windows - https://github.com/Jays2Kings/DS4Windows/releases (this is the latest version of the program, and the support for it has stopped because the creators moved on to InputMapper instead) Anyway, this is the best solution to this issue. It makes DS4 plays perfectly with all PC Games.

2. Run DS4Windows (with the controller connected with cable of course) and Install driver for the controller (if prompted)

3. Right click the taskbar (or CTRL+ALT+Delete) and press Task Manager.

4. Click on ''Services'' and find the service called ''NvContainerLocalSystem'' right-click it and press ''Stop''.

5. Go to the ''Settings'' tab inside DS4Windows, and make sure the ''Hide DS4 controller'' is checked.

6. Now press the ''Start'' button in the lower right corner of DS4Windows.

7. Start the service ''NvContainerLocalSystem'' again.

Now you should be able to play Splinter Cell Blacklist with your DS4 controller, without any issues. Steam won't even give you controller configs because DS4Windows is detected. So make sure the program is minimized when closing the window, so it will always be open.

One thing to keep in mind, is that this method works only until your computer have been restarted. When that happens, you have to redo the whole process to make it work again.

Actually I have figured it out. In DS4 Windows, there's a tick box that says "Hide DS4 Windows". Make sure you have that on for it to work with specific games.

i tried the hide ds4 controller option but it didn't work. can anyone help ?
