DS4 Controller not working

I'm using InputMapper to play with my ps4 controller but all of the controls are incorrect, R2 pauses the game?!

Any idea how to correct the controls? Using inputmapper and my ds4 works perfectly fine on every other game.

Same here. I had the same problem with Deadly Premonition too.

Same! Have you figured it out? I tried switching to DX9 which apparently would help, it worked for a play session, then stopped working again.

Actually I have figured it out. In DS4 Windows, there's a tick box that says "Hide DS4 Windows". Make sure you have that on for it to work with specific games.

awesome!! that worked for me also. i had to restart my computer so i could use it wirelessly because for some reason, it wouldn't connect right until i restarted it but it's all good now. thanks!

Absolutely don't know how steam's forums work and if someone will read my message one day, I suppose not. I just bough SC:B and I have the same problem as you had: a wrong control biding. R2 to pause the game, R3 firing, etc. I play with a ps4 controller with DS4Windows but I don't understand what you did exactly to solve the problem. Can someone explain me precisely?

It's been a hot minute since I fixed this, but it looks like if you use DS4 Windows make sure the "Hide DS4 Windows" box is ticked. I don't know if that'll fix it for you, but that's what did it for me

Thanks for such a fast answer but as you can guess: no. I've already tried that before and it does'nt change anything. I've tried this, change DX 11 to DX9, controle mapping is correct and re-assign a controle to match a specific key is a mess for Sam's movement. What a strange bug and how can it be possible it's not fix so much time after this game came out?

OK ! i'm travelling since a couple of hours now in every forum I find and I've find a solution. I'll post it here in case (who knows) someone needs it one day.
It's a solution for a steam problem but I'm on Uplay and it have worked as well for me.

1. Download the following file :

2. Navigate to: <program files>\Steam\SteamApps\common\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist\src\system
(same if you are on uplay, the directory change but basicly that's the directory with your .exe file)


3. Copy both files into that folder


4. Start the game and your controller should work

It work for me even with DX11.
