can't sign into Uplay to play the game...

says there is something wrong with my interenet when my internet is perfectly fine. anyone know of a fix for this

I'm having a similar issue. I tried to just sign up for a new account through the sign up option on the launcher, but it just no sold when I clicked the register button. Tried to just start offline, wouldn't let me without signing in to Ubisoft at least once, which it also won't allow me to do.

It's an absolute joke. I paid for the games and I can't play any of them. I should be able to play a game without it being held at ransom for me to sign up to Ubisofts terrible service or whatever it is, but even if I try to sign up I'm still not getting to play. Gotta love it haha.

Hope someone comes in with a fix for this.

foreal, its so ridiculous. and it doesn't seem like they are going to address it because i had the same issue months ago when i tried to play on my steam deck. maybe i can email their support line or something because i'd like to play this freaking game at some point. paid like 20 bucks a while back and still haven't played it

Are you guys using the latest version of Ubisoft Connect? Uplay isn't used anymore, so if you are trying to play the game with it, it won't work.

how do we get ubisoft connect to launch and not uplay? because i downloaded the game just yesterday and its using uplay

Managed to figure it out. So download Ubisoft Connect (not uPlay) to your PC. Go into Settings, account linking and check the box that asks if you want to be reminded to link next time you launch Steam.

Open Steam, restart Ubisoft Connect and start the game and it should work.

If you're playing on Steam Deck hopefully after you log in once using Ubisoft Connect on the game through Steam it will allow you to just skip logging in on the Steam Deck, although I'm not entirely sure.
