What happened to this game?

I haven't played in a couple years, did they break this game or something? It's crashing regularly and there's no multiplayer.

I feel ya, I can not even get it to run as my valid Ubisoft account will not login even after a password reset. Valve and Ubisoft do not support any game older than 5yrs, so we're SOL I guess.

The cooperative play servers have been disabled. It also had side effect of some single player missions being rendered no longer available too for some people.

There is a large splinter cell discord community. They have workarounds for the lack of Ubisoft servers though. They have ways to play older splinter cell games too.

Really sad...such a great game. I've heard terrible things about Ubisoft, and now I understand why. They should take this game off the market because at this point it's basically fraud to sell it to anyone.
