From September 1st the Deluxe Edition content for this title will be removed by Ubisoft. The Deluxe Edition content includes these DLCs Packs:

- The High Power DLC Pack:

• PP-19 Black Market SMG
  
• USP45 Hand Gun

- The Homeland DLC Pack:

• Single-player and multiplayer co-op missions: Dead Coast and Billionaire’s Yacht.
  
• Tactical Crossbow with Sleeping Gas Bolts
  
• Upper Echelon Suit, 4E Eclipse Suit for the single-player storyline
  
• Gold, Amber & White Sonar Goggles
  
• Exclusive Mercs & Spy Skin
  
• And more!

- Bonus suits, weapons, and gear:

• Four powerful weapons for any play style: VSS Sniper Rifle, M1014 Shotgun, 416 Assault Rifle, and F40 Pistol.
  
• Three enhanced combat suits: Elite Digital Ghillie Suit, Spy Suit, and Mercenary Suit for Spies vs. Mercs.
  
• Three armor accessories: Ghost Boots, Armored Boots, and Tactical Gloves.

Ubisoft has removed the individual DLCs from sale but hasn't removed the Deluxe Edition from sales, double charging you for the Deluxe Edition with no DLCs Pack content to download.

From what I understand you won't be able to download the game even if you paid for it regardless of version.

I reported this to STEAM store page and since yesterday the Deluxe Edition was removed.
Ubisoft kept selling the Deluxe Edition even when the individual DLCs purchases were removed.

Ubisoft definitely want to be more hated than EA. And they are making it all the way up to the top of most hated gaming companies. I don't remember another single player game on Steam that doesn't allows me to install the DLC that I own

They successfully achieved their goal, they're the worst AAA publisher followed by Blizzard.

This sucks overall since the Homeland pack is probably the greatest DLC out there considering it gives you more missions, and DLC weapons that are actually useful and not ♥♥♥♥ after 10 minutes of playing like some games give.

this truly is heartbreaking as I was hoping this game would gain more players to be able to play online again like old times. But to remove and revoke DLC is just downright petty they need to issue a refund to players that recently bought the Deluxe Edition of any title effected by this purge.

My only question is why are they doing this? they're just asking for their ♥♥♥♥ to get pirated so it cant be to combat piracy when Gabe Newell already gave his words of wisdom on the matter. If its server room then heres a quick fix for you Ubi STOP MAKING ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LIVE SERVICE GAMES OUT THE ASS, seriously all their games now are live service (as far as the Big name games)

To my knowledge, that was only AC Liberation and Anno 2070 that was getting fisted that hard. Fans of all the other games like this one are at least getting lube with our fisting.

One theory I heard of (and I stress this is a theory and not a proven truth) is that there are servers for authenticating purchases and such that Ubisoft just doesn't want to maintain anymore.

You don't need the deluxe edition, all the content is baked into the standard already - you just need access. Luckily a few people posted their almost 100% saves with all the levels, gadgets and such. A easy google search will find them.

With this game being close to 10 years old, DLCs unpurchasable, and online being removed in 2 months - I don't mind.

Yep thats what im going to do and it's all because Ubi doesnt want to put effort in anything of theirs anymore most of the franchises by them are just copy paste of the last game of the series just with a different coat of paint like how ever since Assassins Creed Origins came out each follow up was an openworld game and even the side games just copy paste the maps for 3, 4, and 5 to their respective side games(Blood Dragon, Primal, New Dawn) and anything live service based is just somewhat halfassed maps as the main focus is monetizing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ $60 - $70 game.
