Game doesn't save progress

Blacklist keeps sending me back to the start each time I reopen it. I asked for help with the issue fron Uplay support and they were absolutly useless. The guy from support suggested I install the third party program Gavesave Manager, but I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to fix my problem.

Tried playing with synching savegames to cloud both on and off, still doesn't work. Tried reinstalling. No dice. Got 13% progress reported in Uplay at one point, but still got sent back to the start.

I am about ready to give up and ask for a refund from Steam, but am willing to give it one last shot if anyone here has any ideas. Too bad because the game looks cool, but Uplay is such total utter garbage.

Hey, I had the exact same problem and uplay gave me the same useless solutions. I could play a couple missions and then quit to the main menu without leaving the game, and it would still start all over.

I managed to fix it last night by going into the application folder in steam and setting every game .exe I could find to "run as administrator". I would give you specifics but I am not sure when ill be back at my PC.

I believe it was 3 files, something like "gamelauncher", "game" and "game-dx11"
Right click > properties

Let me know if its still giving you trouble and I will be more accurate next time Im back at my PC

Hi FreakingDogs, I'm only now noticing this reply, months later. Thanks for the detailed answer. What I ended up doing was just completely re-installing uplay and then it started to work as it should.

Re-installing Uplay was actually somewhat painless (pretty much all my games and setting where restored as is.
