Which Splinter Cell Titles are worth buying?
I see the entire library is on sale. Which Splinter Cell games are worth playing? Also, is the Splinter Cell bundle worth it?

100% you should get Blacklist because it's a super-big game with tons of missions and a really good movement system. And in my honest opinion, Conviction also has a pretty good movement system (and an even better story than Blacklist)…but if you're looking to play Conviction, make sure to go into the CFG file if your monitor's refresh rate is anything other than 60Hz exactly because that game will straight-up not load if you have a 120Hz display and you have your refresh rate in the CFG set to 60Hz still.

Now if you care about story other than Conviction, I'd have to recommend you Chaos Theory as well as the original game. Double-Agent is pretty good, too, but—well—the ending is outright spoiled in the title.

P.S.: if you get Blacklist, hit me up so we can do the co-op missions together! :steamhappy:

Honestly? Splinter Cell 1 and Chaos Theory are great. Skip Double Agent unless youre willing to jump through dozens of hoops to get a HOPEFULLY functional game with no controller support without 3rd party apps, Chaos Theory and Conviction both require some tweaking to get X1 controller support to work properly. Havent made it to Blacklist yet to determine its port job. That said Conviction is not a traditional Splinter Cell game and its the odd one out in the series because of odd design choices like not being able to move bodies after knockouts. Chaos Theory and Blacklist are definitely the series high points imo

1. Chaos theory
2. Conviction
3. Blacklist

Blacklist is good but it's not best to me because the story of Conviction is better, and the enemy footsteps of Blacklist are bit weird that you cannot identify where exactly the enemies are precisely.

if you are a hardcore stealth guy then splinter cell 1 and 2
if you want a nice stealth coop too then splinter cell chaos theory
if you want an amazing experience then splinter cell conviction and blacklist
conviction s deniable ops and blacklist embassy maps are some of the best things i have seen in any game

Main thing to note is if you get them all, start with 1 and dont touch the others until youre finished with 1. The later entries will spoil you and make the original feel very heavy and outdated, thats not to say its a bad game because its really good but all the new toys you get later in the series make life a lot easier and create a different dynamic in general on how you interact with and handle the environment and the puzzles and problems that come up during stealth gameplay

i woulds recommend them all, i don't know where you could get Pandora Tomorrow, but it's basically just a redesigned Splinter cell 1, so it is skippable since it is off the shelves.

Chaos Theory is the Reason why Blacklist was talked about and planned so well in the first place, so i would definitely try that game out, and even play Spies Vs. Mercs on LAN (you will likely need some fixes for Mutliplayer, for torchlight (flashligth) and some other tweaks for resolution.)

Double Agent on PC is a great game, IMO, especially because of the break in character and the tightly built missions, they have enough freedom in one sense, but keeping the levels of trust for both factions (JBA/NSA) in-check and still being Sam Fisher made it a Win for me simply because i can sort of D!ck around with the JBA just enough, but, sadly, there are missions that require some decision making that would be troubling if not undercover... However, if you do play it, you will realize that 5th freedom on some missions means more trust in the JBA, and it eventually leads to bigger decisions that are basically no-brainers, in the end...

I honestly didn't like Conviction, it feels too hectic and the story, while Amazing to a lot of players, given that the White House is then under siege, i really didn't find it to be very amusing given i needed to slaughter about 98% of the enemies and had no real option for ghosting my way through any of the missions, unlike Blacklist, where some enemies you can kill or pacify, and some you can easily just bypass, and still complete your objective.

That said, Blacklist is the biggest SC of all of them, and because Chaos Theory was a personal favorite for so many SC fans, it was planned quite well, and the 3 Options for Playstyle (Ghost, Panther and Assault) were implemented, it really makes the game fun no matter how you choose to serve the world (typically American stories) and "save the day."
