Unknown dead drop

I have collected 20 dead drops and apparently I have 7 more to collect: I know that 4 are from Briggs COOP missions and 2 are from DLC missions. I googled and found an IGN site which states that there are 24 dead drops + 2 DLC ones but where is the last one then??

Talk with Briggs on Paladin to see your progress over all.

On mine it shows 22 of 24 dead drops. I bought the edition with the DLC maps
when it was on sale.

I have completed the entire main story, and all of the DLC missions, but have yet to unlock last Briggs mission. 85% 4E missions are complete. And I get a ticker that shows I missed a dead drop on the last one which leaves two and adds to total of 24 not 26 dead drops.

Maybe there is something that is not showing in that progress meter though.

The last one is exactly what I'm talking about. All the other ones check out but I have no idea where the last one comes from. I checked my progress and it shows 20/24 (obviously its not counting the DLC). I actually wonder if this is just a glitch or a developer oversight.

Just my own experiences on this. On my first play-through I could not find Dead Drop #27 (Paladin) either. I played solo, so I was missing 5 Dead Drops in all. This is with the DLC installed too.

On my second play-through, I did the co-op missions first before the campaign. I found after the Detention Facility/Airstrip double-mission, Dead Drop #27 had automatically unlocked, I didn't need to find it. So it seems you do need to find the co-op Dead Drops in order to later get the Paladin Dead Drop automatically.
