How the hell do you aim as a spy in SvM accurately?
There's this weird aiming deadzone or negative mouse acceleration that removes my ability to aim with any sort of precision, resulting in my mouse sort of zigzagging when I want it to move smoothly when aiming. Changing sensitivity doesn't work. Campaign doesn't seem to have this problem. How do you fix this?

turn of aim assist, that worked for me. Aim assist seems to try and do its own thing while your trying to aim so it results in not being able to aim.if your using controller keep aim assist on but if your using mouse and keyboard then dissable aim assist

I turned it off already, but the problem I'm getting is that it is very hard to accurately move the mouse in slow, precise movements.

I've played SvM since 2013, and my aim as a mercenary is top-notch. It's just aiming as a spy that's so hard. It feels like it was never designed for a mouse, only a controller. It's not smooth, my aim tends to "hitch" on objects that I just passed, and following the mercenaries around with the cursor is extremely difficult thanks to this aiming deadzone.

Campaign mode does NOT have this problem. I don't know what's up with the aiming in SvM.

I agree that aiming with the mouse is not smooth but I have 300 hours in the game and I can aim fairy well when I am not out of practice. Also try turning anti alising on as a spy and off as a merc.

Try reducing your mouse pulling rate to 125, if you can. Blacklist has an issue with 1000 pulling rates. I get a weird jitter aim with it on 1,000. Regardless, Blacklist has one of the worst aimming systems ever. Mouse accerleration + When sprinting as either as spy or merc, your sensitivity changes back to the game's default. (5.0)
Hey, thanks for the tips will try it out in game.

WildLands on ps4 makes it IMPOSSIBLE to aim correct, delay and feels like tar that suddenly goes fast after 0.2 sec

I don't play the game anymore and have not played in a few years, but it should be somewhere in aim settings where you change your sensitivity.
