I even run away from bosses, but they still die. So endless mode for me, is literally endless.
Wave 78 now after writing this...
I did die at least, but I don't know how, because I went afk to prepare food. It was something like wave 89.
I like how you replied without saying how you did it.... Very useful!
Are you using the rare bug upgrades? If yes - then obviously you can do it easily
If no - then what character, what weapons and talents?
Well, I didn't see where you asked how I did it. I'm no mindreader, so you gotta turn unspoken questions, into actual asked questions. Of course before you come at me with douchy sarcasm.
Character only affects the first weapon you have, so they are basically irrelevant. If you REALLY struggle, pick Bat Head.
Pick strong weapons with good spread between single target and crowd control. Fork, P-Bat, Both auras.
If you struggle on some bosses, run the chapters first to practice against them. Some of them are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you have to deal with it.
I will tell you how I did 70 with Robert, which was the last run I did. I have 18 bugs on him so keep that in mind>
Weapons:
Fork (fusion)
Purple bat (non fusion)
Refectory Table
Death Knell (fusion)
Symbol of Evil (fusion)
Talents:
Slayer
I deserve happiness
Progress not perfection
Mist form
Entomophilia
Vamp spreading
PnP & MIst form give you damage mitigation and damage boost. Can do without PnP but I ALWAYS take Mist Form in a build. You need Ento for those heal bugs.
I always take Purple Bat, Table and Fork. The other two you can play with.
When you level, prioritise the skills needed for you build, and prioritise talents.
I would do something like this with every character.
Good luck.
[Edit] It's extremely boring so good luck with that.

Wave 184. I coulda gone MUCH further. But choose to end it by using a copy of the boss from white chapel that bugged out early in my run (killed the boss, just a copy of him bugged out and was able to continue) because due to my spec, most mob's were stun locked and as such, i took very little dmg per hit. Since its clearly not a matter of skill getting far in endless mode and just a matter of spec, proper character placement and a little bit of luck and the fact there is no leaderboard's and it standing there watching it was starting to get boring (plus i did not want to miss the evening news), it felt like a good time to end the run.
Aside from the whitechapel boss copy clone bugging out, the only other bug i came across was from dracula, a few of the fight's had his boss location icon bug out and remain on the screen. Dunno why. It just did.
With the current patch, there is no timer on bosses/lvls and mob hp caps out at a certain point it seems and as for dmg.... i dont think it ever increases in all honesty. The spawn rate and the speed at which the mobs move most certainly increases continously for awhile but even that i think capped out after a certain point.
The only real threat's was the vampire hunter boss and if i had very bad luck and got a mob on me that did high lvl contact dmg (which was rare and since i was the nun, i just saved my super move for when that happened). My rare bug lvl was lvl 10, so not much extra stats.
If i was going to changing anything regarding my spec, i might get rid of the green bat (super upgraded) for maybe the arm nunchuk's for the knock back, but in all honesty, with how you legit get instantly swarmed at the lvl i was at and how the mobs rush you regardless if they are stunned or not, pretty sure it would end up being worse.
Yes, i mainly just sat in the corner, but for bosses you 100% have to be present in order to move and hunt them down or they will kill you with either their ranged attack or contact dmg. But for the wave's, i consider the spot i choose to be among the best along with the character i picked (mainly for her weapon since it turns all mobs into a pulsating pb aoe and is insane for the wave clear).
Also was experiencing frame rate drops every wave as well due to how the mobs just straight up swarmed me instantly and thus combining the effects of all the spells ect. Frame rate was between 10-30 for most of the wave until they died off (which happened in a timely manner with the dps i was doing).
With the spec i went and my character placement, i was generally able to out heal any dmg i took during the waves most of the time (mainly because of the stunlock and also from frequently being hit by the bird's or small enemy bullet's that did VERY little dmg and gave iframe's during each occurence) and more often then not was able to retop myself off after a boss fight using this tactic.
My spot (although you cant see it in the screenshot provided due to all the mob's swarming me) is the bottom right corner. Although at some point a portion of the bottom right corner became slightly elevated for some reason and i had to place myself on top of the elevation in order to herd the mob's properly so they could be managed.
