Speed Issue FIXED
Say goodbye to turning down your graphics just to get high speeds in your cart. Here's the ultimate FIX:

>Open File Explorer
>Navigate to C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\CartOfGlory\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
>Open the GameUserSettings.ini file
>Change the framerate limiter to: FrameRateLimit=100.000000
>Hit Ctrl+S to save, done

From my experience, setting the framerate higher than 100 FPS makes the cart boosts insanely fast, which makes controlling the cart way harder. In the Falling Saints videos, the devs are probably playing at around this framerate.

Bam, you nailed it. I just platinumed Hillbomb for the first time and it was easy, and I can turn on Epic graphics again.

However, the game seems to know you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with it and you get "invalidated record" on the end screen, which sucks. Like if they know the speed is tied to FPS, the answer is to *fix the code and process the physics in the physics frames*, not to stop people from fixing their game with config files. Like... this is basic best practice game dev.

I mean I still get the record listed and the platinum trophy on the level select screen, so I'm good with it, I don't need it to go on the leaderboards or anything. It's just this is such a good game held back by such a simple issue. Like I know game dev is hard, and I know there are implementation details they need to sort out that may not be so simple, but that's not an excuse to not fix something that should've been done on day 1 of the prototype, just by default, because that's how it's done.

You may need to go to explorer -> File -> Change folder and search options -> Show hidden files and folders.

I believe the AppData folder may be hidden.
