Our game runs through our servers only and we do not allow any cheat things going on there. :)
The very first mission in the game is easy, I dont know how hard the demo is but if you change up your strategy a bit, it really makes a difference on the outcome. I have over 300 hours in single player, the game is awesome.
Even in the early war in Poland, the Germans had combined arms, air, artillery, tanks and infantry working together. THAT is why it was so fast. Not just because they used a lot of tanks.
I started this game as it first came out, hated it. I was supposed to take a position, mortar or MG I think, but the commands to enter the fortification/bunker would not work and the infantry just sat there getting killed by the MG in the bunker. Gave up after three tries. Tried again with changes in the game added, still hated it. Now it is so different, I cannot even seem to find a way to start over with the tutorial. User interface is absolutely worthless.
Games like Blitzkrieg II and Company of Heroes are so much better.
I even like older games like Panzer Leader, Panzer Korps... from the 19080s and 1990s more than this game. I remember a lot of board games and PC games that restricted you in placement of units and even removed units to simulate the changes Hitler made in withdrawing units to fight in another part of the front. I don't even know if I still have a copy of those games. I prefer games where I am the one to choose what units and how many I place. This game has no flexibility.
I am going to not only uninstall the game, but look for a way to remove it completely. It has no place in my library of games. Not even in a list of games that I have played.
good for you, it sounds like you should stick to board games and video games before the turn of the century, the newer games are too complex and difficult.
