Resetting Account and Achievements

Does resetting your account delete all your non-level-based achievements? For example, say I've got all the achievements except for the 500 games won and 10,000 towers built ones. If I reset my account, will I start back at 0 for these? I don't my losing the level-based achievements and my cards, etc. (that's kind of the point) but it would be nice if I could reset my account (I want to try playing through a different way, but all my cards are maxed out, so that kind of defeats the point) without losing my progress towards these two achievements.

That's a good question, one I'm curious about myself. But not resetting your achievnents would put you at a disadvantage by not giving you the opportunity to get the award for those achievments.

Well, it would make sense to me to maybe reset the level-based achievements (there's actually a post from a dev that says it resets your achievements as well, but I'm not sure if that's all of them, or just the level-based ones.) Regardless, I would think that anyone who had reset their account would be familiar enough with the game that missing those rewards wouldn't be that big a deal.

I just really don't want to lose my ~375 games won and ~2500 towers built progress towards those achievements.

Yes everything is reset. I had 78/80 achievements when it was in beta and once the game went live I reset my data so I can start over after my Steam achievements unlocked. Some achievements were bugged anyways so it gives me a chance to re-earn them so they unlock.

Huh...that sucks. I've got 78/80 as well, and I can probably push through and get the 500 games (I'm at 400 now) but I've got another 7000+ towers to build for the tower one.

If a dev sees this...any chance we can get a way to reset levels/cards/money/maps without resetting achievements? Yeah, it might require a little more grinding without the achievement rewards, but I'm willing to put up with that, and I imagine others would as well.
