I don't get the point of making such good game and kinda leaving it like that. I just keep playing it, it super nice, collect towers... good UI. different types of difficulty mixed. They went mobile, but yeah how well that going? 3 months no update, fb kinda dead on PWD 2, maybe the mobile port didn't go as planned, just hoped they would have put in on steam too, but that's not really going to happen, so a new game is the only chance sill, as a DLC is even further away than PWD2 on steam. We shall wait. In the meantime keep playing this fun game.
