Deposit Miner Unlock

I just scanned one of the Deposit Miner fragments at the red asteroid and both fragments disappeared. I now only have three scans and cannot unlock the module. Anyone else experience this? Possible solutions?

It's likely all parts disappeared and you won't be able to unlock it anymore. Happens quite often at this stage.
