Creative/Story Mode

Anyone tell me the difference? Have 2 saved games, 1 of each, and they are both the same. Certainly creative mode does not give you unlimited resources or have all techs unlocked, so what, if anything, are the differences at the moment?

Everything is unlocked and free in creative. You also have the survival mechanics be removed.

which resources and tech are you missing? i've been able to build everything without harvesting anything... the only reason i even went running around was to explore...

yes, pretty much... if you go finding everything... currently in creative mode you don't have to go find anything because you can build everything... but going out hunting will allow you to find story elements... the whole story is not yet available, though...

Hmmm well I started a new game in creative mode and it was no different to the story game, nothing was unlocked until I found the blueprint for it. Maybe Ill start a new one and see if it was a glitch, it was shortly after release so never know.

that's very weird... everything is unlocked in Creative... you can build everything, tool mods, bases, etc, without collecting or harvesting anything right from the get go... i only went around collecting and hunting things because i wanted to play it like normal but without the hunger and thirst mechanics getting in my way... these have been reduced now along with quite a number of bug fixes...
