Alpha Mining Site?

...or Alpha Mining Cave?
Found the keycard, but not the door for it...
I'm looking around in Theta-12 for several hours now. There's "Aplha Control Center", but that seems to be something different.
Can anyone enlighten me? What do i miss here?

If you follow a straight line from the warp gate of theta 12 to the exile outpost and then continue flying straight for 2.5 km more, you will see massive glowing rocks and alpha mining will be near there as well. It has rode dome, a ton of bots and flashing lights. It's hard to miss.

Isn't that on Theta-9?!
If yes then: It's just on the other side around the rock of Beta Mine. A corridor peeking out of the terrain with some iron asteroids (and mines again).

On Theta-12 the alpha mining site is clearly indicated.

Well, if one doesn't accidently head in the right direction - it's very easy to miss (at least it was for me).
You have to come close enough to see the hints... :-)

Well, if one doesn't accidently head in the right direction - it's very easy to miss (at least it was for me).
You have to come close enough to see the hints... :-)

Yea, I came across it when I was just flying in every direction to see if there is a content I've missed.

Theta-12 is even larger. I accidenally stumbled into even deeper areas where the environment is totally pink, greenish. Still empty of course probably WIP.

The dev loves this kind of fog for some reason I can't fathom. If you go to the alien ship in Theta 9, the whole area will turn vomiting pink and I can barely see the freaking ship that's the size of half a map. I am starting to think Bery has a fetish to make our eyes bleed.

You are probably talking about a different site. The one you are looking for is literally on the other side of the asteroid you found it at. Just head left and in 50 meters you will find it. And yes, that location is important.

I've been to the Alpha mining site BEFORE I had the Alpha mining cave key card is why I'm asking .

Alpha mining cave is at Theta 9 and is literally on the other side of the same asteroid where the key card is. Alpha Mining Site is in Theta 12 and is a very important location with lots of stuff in it. The cave is also important and has some nice goodies.

What alien ship?
I don't think I found that one unless it's the giant Orb off in the distance but I thought that was just a planet you can't travel to.

There is a big asteroid miner, in that same cave, that points at a wall. Mine that wall. On the other side is a log that tells you the code.

Probably referring to the giant ship broken into 3 sections with lots of gold asteroids near it.
