I really can't stand these whiners who complain about early access games. Do you not understand that it costs money to develop a game and the point of early access is two fold. To generate capital to continue paying the cost of development (especially with indies) and to create a test bed and get feedback. If you want completed games games with lots to do don't buy early access. Go play Star Citizen ... oh wait ... that's 700M collected for an alpha (early access) game. LOL Anyhoo, stop buying early access and whining about lack of content. It's idiotic.

What, So I buy a motorcycle and i can ride it for 2 hrs and then have to wait an indeterminate amount of time before i can ride it again , And then i may have to pay even more money to ride it again,
Their is a law against that( monetary gain through misdirection and false claims), Why it does not apply to software eludes me.
I also thought this was not going to be a KSP 2, That`s why i purchased it ,Seems me thinking indie developers were NOT greedy like triple AAA`s, I stand corrected.
I paid 20 AUD for KSP, Never asked me for money in all that time, I am still playing it to this day.

Now, let's talk about the xmass thingie. That's a very nice way for the devs to check implementation of special events for the future, how easy would be, bugs that may occure bc of them, players' acceptance and a sh!t load of more info. Good job on their part to to have it.

I have been playing video games since space invaders and pong, I believe i have experience in this, games to day are nothing compared to the games of the 90`s.That was when games where made for the enjoyment of gamers , Not, just enough content to suck gamer`s in.

You yourself went out of your way to buy the game that is incomplete and is still in development, it is written in giant letters with a massive banner across the screen that the game is still in development and incomplete. You still buy it, then you come here and consider it a slap to your face that the game is incomplete? Do you also hit yourself in the head with a hammer and then sue the manufacturer because they didn't provide the instructions manual for you, saying do not hit yourself in the head with hammer?

I found it a bit weird that the christmas thing came out that fast but nothing really new was added from the prologue. Idk I'm not a developer but I have to wonder a bit about the development priorities.

idk how long the christmas stuff was worked on but it was not done in time for a proper QA pass and general release...

it was decided to make it available via the experimental branch so we (generic) could at least give it a go... this was beneficial on several fronts... one main one being defect discovery and reporting so now, when those defects are fixed, it can likely withstand a more rigorous QA and be released with fewer defects...

if you are not able to understand the terms "Early Access", "still in development", "incomplete" etc then you should do yourself a favor and visit the link below and stay away from Early Access games in the future.

really? because i dont feel foolish. i still believe that even early access games should have more content than the FREE demo or whats the point eh? and they did say there would be more content upon release so expectations were a little higher than playing the demo again.

Dude EA Games will have more content which gets added DURING the developement. Astrometica is on his EA start in a better shape then a subnautica, planet crafter or whatever ever was at the beginning, so pls stop whining now and stop buying Early access games please if you cant handle it, that they are alphas/betas (UNFINIHSED) of a game.

The full game of astrometica is bigger then Prologue & Demo together, THATS A FACT, dosen't matter what you say or think. In neither of the two test versions could you freely explore THE WHOLE MAP, in neither of the two test versions could you find ALL BLUEPRINTS or build everything that is now available in the full game and much more

Someone literally made you a list of new content that was added in EA release and was not in the demo or prologue, and yet you don't seem to accept it because you in your ignorance of game dev made some assumptions with no bases that didn't conformed to reality. You say you are not, but it sounds like you actually are.

breathedge is not even good :rofl: the humor sucks really hard after a while it's just to much and to often, base building comes very very late and isn't even satisfying! And the most important thing:

Breathedge is already a COMPLETE GAME and Astrometica not.

I think you really don't get what a Early Access game is. As others already recommended, please DON'T BUY ANY EARLY ACCESS GAME ANYMORE IF YOU ARENT HAPPY WITH THAT. And no, No single EA-game ever had at the beginning alot content, thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! Most of them had at the beginning barely content and there has Astrometica already more then some others at the beginnning stage. Thats a fact!

And this is also the last word, i close here, such a non-sense discussion
