Engineering suit?

I just scanned an engineering suit. Can anyone tell me what it does? I can't seem to build it and I am also not wearing anything else, nor did I get an new ability...

look in your inventory... it should be there... i think there's no icon for it... only a colored square... you can drag it or (easier) click it to put it on... note that you can wear only one suit at a time (in case you find others)...

The Engineering suit is an upgrade over your survival suit, and can be built at the fabricator. It will increase you max health when equipped (install the same way you install a tool or jetpack)
