Soft lock, Iridium?

While batch making some iron I misclicked and turned my iridium into a bar. I've gone back to all the POI and crates etc and can't find anymore. I no longer have enough to make the suit I'd need to get more. Unable to recycle the bat back into chunks

Stack up on health packs and march into the green clouds.

The toxic cloud won't kill you instantly. Fly into the cloud with your Summon, find an iridium asteroid, bail from your ship, and mine it. Then get right back in your Summon and pop a medkit. Repeat as necessary until you have the iridium quantity you need.

It will help to have mining speed upgrades for this to mine the asteroids faster.
