Smelter - Cant Place
I have all the materials for the Smelter and it shows up with the green hologram but it wont let me place it, just gives me an error beep and thats it. Plenty of power, got 100+ extra and it only needs 30.

sounds like your building gun is out of battery power as was said about.

Yeah, deffo the builder battery

I had this while I was trying to expand my base. Kept getting the beep and couldn't place corridors, habitats, solar panels, batteries - nothing.

Felt really dumb when I finally remembered to check my tools power reading
