As you, and maybe many others, I wish to have more content, soon. Yeah, the final game, served fast…
But that is unreal, and only adds unnecessary pressure to the developer (the single person doing this game).
You mention that "based on the roadmap" but the only date on the roadmap is for the "Early Access Launch".
None of the other entries has a relase/ETA date or any other "promises".
There is no ETA published for any of the individual tasks on that roadmap.
I think on that roadmap more like a "Todo list": only the developer knows what & when any of those features will be released.
This is a single programmer effort (and an artist joined recently), so maybe you are expecting too much for a so small team.
Perhaps, you wish to join their discord server, and have a more close interaction with the developer and their community.
In the end, as with any other "Early Access" title, only time will say if this game came to completion or not, if it is successfull or not.
In the meantime, we must have a lot of patience, and await to see how this goes on.
Best regards.
they plan to have ~ 3 updates out by or in roughly june.
there is only so much smaller dev teams can do at any given time, and any hiccups cause bigger delays due to a lack of manpower to brute force things
unless you are looking at one from a massive AAA company roadmaps are more rough outlines of the plan, the exact timing or even the order isn't set in stone, as sometimes one thing causes issues and has to be delayed in favor of something else, or community wants shifts it.
roadmaps esp for smaller companies should be looked at as more of a "this is what we are working on and plan on releasing when we get the chance"
they are working on things as best as anyone can realistically expect.
