The price is outrageous for what you get.
You can play it in some cases, but be careful, you can only play the one world in the EA that you are currently in and it is not really that big, so the money you pay is pretty cheeky... I have only played for about 18 hours and am through and I am not the fastest.

this is an early access game, have you looked at what the next 3 updates are bringing?
I completed "all" the game over Xmas and am looking forward to what they are planning next.

It is actually cheaper than most EA that come out. They are usually around 25. USD. This is on sale for 17.99. Great game. Has lots of potential.
small development team / single developer games are a marathon, not a sprint. You don't buy them expecting a huge amount of content, fast updates, etc. you buy them because you want to be along for the ride as it develops. If you want a sprint then you don't even look at Early Access game.

OK, it's not about the game, I know that an EA game isn't finished and I didn't complain that it's bad or anything like that. I may have expressed myself incorrectly, but I didn't see anywhere that it was just the one small world or I missed it and then I didn't say anything. Normally, what I'm getting should be described properly in advance. Here I have an EA game and basically it's just a slightly larger demo version.

Not trying to be rude but is this your first EA game? Look at the new Space Engineers 2 EA for bare bones. Subnautica & Below Zero were pretty rough when in EA. For a new EA release, 18 hours ain't bad. So far the game has run pretty smoothly for me.
If you're an Astrometica fan (as am I) then you know that you're at the start of something that is going to be just great. The money paid is, well, paid, and the upcoming goodies are going to be worth the wait (although I AM struggling with the waiting - also, I'm getting sick of eating Gargaol fruit - I can't find any more Organic MRE pouches in order to make Space Burgers; and I have one Space Donut I'm saving). The cost is not a lot and the funds are vital to help the developers to continue developing.......Theta-12 and Theta-145 await.......

I beat everything there was to do in 12 hours or so. Tbh it is a bit expensive for the initial content but I bought it with the expectations that it will be well worth it with 1.0. I am happy to wait for the 1.0 launch now to enjoy it all over again with the new changes!
