Coridoor Asteroid Miner questions
Do we have an estimate on the range it can reach out to mine rocks?

Also, are there any 'dead zones' it can't reach? I've seen it fire through parts of the base, but will it say through a large rock in the way, if you set it up around the survival pod near Mox Island? Are areas above and below unreachable due to angles it can turn to and you need one mounted on the underside of the base and/or in a slightly different area to cover them? Or is it pretty much a globe around the miner that is available for harvesting?

Not quite sure what a "unit" is. Would've been nice had they just stated it in meters. If I were to venture a guess, 10,000 units might be 100-ish meters?
Look at the size of the average asteroid cloud, like the one between the second escape pod and Mox Island. Park your base right beneath that (or slightly in the middle) and your CAMs will reach it all.

As as test I got right over a waypoint/beacon and went up an extra hundred meters. Assuming the coordinate position you get is in these "units"? 100m=10,000 units. Or a bubble that is smaller than the distance between Mox Island and the emergency pod nearby that isn't yours.

Seems logical. Although, that means a unit is equivalent to a centimeter and it's quite odd that a large canon-like tool would have it's range stated as 10,000 centimeters as opposed to 100 meters.

Next time I'm out sighting my rifle, I'll be sure to let everyone know the target was 10,000 units away.

I'm pretty sure that's the standard scale unit in Unreal Engine, so it looks like they were just a little lazy with the tooltip and kept it in basic UE unit context.
