What level should you grind the armors?

I made it to +4, got some +1 armors. When should I grind a + level for the armors and use the gold to upgrade them more?

I'm maining tank and my current plan is to just keep upping the difficulty until the party wipes. Then I'll step back a tier and farm. No reason to sink resources into gear that will be replaced quickly.

dont forget all progression will be wiped once full game comes out, only goal of the game is to unlock the +5 mount and that is it due to the mount will transfer over but gear and items will not.

there is a mount at +15 to. and that mount is really cool
