but why not use Q and E for strafe, A and D for turning?
also, you can set "Auto Run" to a button of your choice, i myself use middle click
Thats helpful. I’ll have to try that. Is it auto run? Or just forward?
Is this a troll? Are you actually suggesting to have keyboard turning bound?
I think people don’t get the concept of making an arc while moving. Shooter movement is different than mmo movement.
yes, i am suggesting this, considering this is the way ive been playing FF14 for years, and its worked fine for me. Why would it be a troll?
I'm stunned. Not only is it objectively slower than using your mouse to turn your camera, it also takes up two extremely useful keys very close to your fingers which could be bound to abilities.
i do mostly use right click to turn, and my hotbar is controlled using my mouse, which has 12 side buttons which ive bound to 1 -> =
its not that in FF14 i bound them to A and D myself, they came that way, and i got used to playing like it.
But yea, i use left click for turning the camera, right click for turning my character, and in FF14 its something that does need to be done, depending on the boss/dungeon, they have mechanics where you need to turn your character away from the boss.
