I mean, I was pushing lower mid to mid (22-25) range keys before the rework, then I quit and finally had my entire battlenet removed after 20+ years to break free. I felt like I was somewhat serious about mythic+ as I lived and breathed it since legion. Obviously this game has much to do, but it does emulate the only thing that gave me any slight enjoyment in a 20ish year old game after all that time.
I don't expect to be pressed with almost flawless game play and a single misstep or poorly timed cool down will lead to an entire group wipe on a tyrannical boss that has a strict rotation on group/personal cd's. But I'll gladly take a somewhat lower key level experience in a style of game play loop I do enjoy.
Your final sentence is actually one of the biggest problems in mythic+. That attitude right there is the exact reason many people don't have as much fun as they could be having in keys.
And I'll be frank, that attitude, while it exists somewhat in the top 1% of key runners, it is not rampant. Actual good mythic+ players don't go around calling people trash or act like a child when something goes wrong. The ones that think they're better than they actually are, normally do that.
It's alright to not be the best at something, we all start somewhere and every person has multiple potential caps at certain stages that can be surpassed with enough experience and positive support from their teams while learning. Tear them down early and risk losing potential players that could perform at that level because you ran them off with your nasty attitude.
Role playing as a gate keeper has always been a weird thing for me to watch over the years as mythic+ grew to what it is now. I've never understood experiencing a bad outcome in a key and immediately deciding to talk down, berate or just outright attack someone with hate because I became emotional over something so minor.
been playing wow for years already doing +3's here
I can tell you multiple reasons why
1. 0 subscription
2. you dont have to relevel or do any form of other content to get gear (raiding, wq, delves)
3. you dont have to spend x$ amount for every new expansion
4. content here could also move a lot quicker as its only focused on one aspect of the game, while you have to wait 4 months for some new dungeons and old dungeons, and then some half baked, tier set, and modifiers that keeps getting lame
if wow classic original had only dungeons, it would look 1000 times better than this... and that game is in 2008, and this is in 2025... shame.
from the character design, classes, gender selection, controls and its button assignment settings. the graphics are also so-so.
