But personally i can't really tell a difference in terms of gameplay.
I can only speak for myself here, but I've been waiting a long time for a game like this to come out. I've spent a lot of time in WoW and very much enjoyed the M+ gameplay loop, but I found all the various expansion systems and hoops I had to play around to be tedious. If all you want to do is just run dungeons and progress through difficulty levels, this game stands apart for sure.
It remains to be seen how it will be monetized and whether or not they'll employ modern WoW's method of time-gating, but my initial thoughts are very positive. I look forward to spending more time with this demo and seeing how the game evolves. I think WoW is always going to look a bit better given its maturity, but I respect the devs attempt to decouple the small team tactical content gameplay loop from the larger MMO experience.
I agree the idea is amazing. In theory it's great. I just have some concerns, but it is early.
I do hate the idea that DBM is built in, and DPS meters are built in.
This is the Temu version for players who don’t realize how ♥♥♥♥ they are at M+ to come and try to keep avoiding their own self realization that they’re just trash at the game.
