thank you very much, it worked out well on that map and the skills shown in image. :spycon: :tgrin: :tshock: :Gems:
I have tried around a dozen times with the exact maze layout, tower selection & even skill tree but I am unable to kill 10 enemies with the Penetrator. :rcry: :sadpanda:

Has the game been patched, rebalanced or nerfed in some way over the past month when this was posted? :rrazz: :cgrazz:

@SunsetHaste: I really enjoyed your walkthroughs for this game. Sadly this one just isn't working for me... :Die:

Another, perhaps easier solution: Pick Penetrator, Charger and two towers of your choice (preferably offensive ones, so that you can beat the map once). Try doing a normal survival on gallery and do one loop (as in, beat the boss once, so that you'll end on the repeated first wave).
Sell EVERYTHING you had and create the maze shown in the screenshot. Upgrade the Penetrator to lvl3, upgrade the Charger to lvl3.
After you start the wave you'll have to use skills to somehow slow down incoming pups (so you'll have to take some CC skills - Freeze and Time Reverse may be the best) until there are 10 in one line.
Afterwards you just hope that the penetrator will kill 10 at the same time. Do note that it has to 'last hit' 10 lumes at the same time. It does not have to kill them from full hp in one shot, so if it hits 10 leaving them near-death, then just try to stop the lumes on the front (near the penetrator) so that they won't get away from the line of fire.
Hey thanks for the prompt reply/advice. I hope to revert with good news. :skyecute:
Just got the achievement. SunsetHaste's new suggestion worked brilliantly. :trainbowbarf:

In all fairness, as much as I enjoy the Sanctum franchise, this game deserved to have been play-tested more thoroughly before release instead of being overhauled months after launch, which has alienated earlier players. Simultaneously, new players are confused when old information & resources (e.g. walkthroughs/tips/advice) no longer apply and new information is not forthcoming because the early adopters move on. We are lucky to have fans like SunsetHaste who remain to help newbies like myself. :tap:

I know its currently only 39 cents but frankly I only expect this kind of overhaul in F2P games which is why I avoid them, since devs love to constanly "balance" the game so that players must pay to win. :rshout:

Still, big thanks to SunsetHaste & CoffeeStainStudios really owes this member a medal for keeping what little of the fanbase/community for this title together. :trophy:

Ah, you're spoiling me >///<

In all fairness, I'm among those "moving on early adopters", because I don't really plan to update my old* hardmode playthrough vids... I did try to update the descriptions with some universal advice regarding specific maps. And I do try to help wherever I can, because... well, mostly because I'm able to and this game deserves to be enjoyed, even if some outside help is required for that ;p

*only one patch old, BUT STILL

Thanks for this suggestion, it worked like a charm! Made one minor change: I used 4 lvl 3 chargers, they stack (I didn't know that until now...); the damage of the penetrator was boosted to 2765 :skyecute:

Chargers stack? Damn, that might actually be a bug....
