The Pumpkin Queen fight went horribly for me (as storyline should probably be except for masochists who play From Softwere games on level 1 without hardware) so I looked at the wiki in map/word and it shows 2 out of 3 fights with Pumpkin Queen, of which the wiki says during the second clash I have 100% for a new sword. I don't have it, so I'm repeating the story mission because you can only repeat 1 fight without the storyline and I get rewards that the 3rd boss fight is counted as the first by the wiki. So the Wiki will spoiler that Pumpkin Queen will resurrect and then we can get this sword? Is this a special reward for those who beat her on the first try and there is an error in the wiki in the order of the battles?

You get the sword for beating Pumpkin Queen in the first battle, which you're typically expected to lose the first time you do it. This is the same battle you can replay from the contracts menu.
