Feedback so far.
Well, I've played a lot of survivor rougelike games so far from Brotato, to Death Must Die, to Soul stone survivors. There are some good, great, bad, and very ugly points about this game. I will try to work through them as I remember them.

Positives:
Amount of characters is nice for diverse play styles. This is just like brotato which I played a ton of because of the various unique playstyles required to win.

Fairly smooth animations and play loops. Getting into a groove with the killing in this game can be fairly satisfying.

HUGE map is great for not being bored staying in one place.

Tons of talents to choose from that almost all seem useful at someone point in most builds. The specific ones for projectile vs melee that only come out based on weapon being used is a nice touch. Weighting the appearance of talents based on what is already picked as well as the character is also a nice touch.

Story started off interesting at least.

Both melee and range builds are viable to beat the game on the highest difficulty settings.

Love most of the boss fights and most of the mechanics required to beat them.

Negatives:
First off hit detection for both enemies hitting your character and you hitting enemies. Several times my character is well away from what RED effect is going off but I still get hit. The other hit detection problem is some weapons literally cannot hit enemies right on top of you. This goes for some range and melee weapons. Gatlin gun? Good look shooting anything in front of you. I've had this issue happen with one of the sword types and axe types as well. If the enemy is faster than you and you can't make enough space to get the hit detection working again for your weapon, it can literally screw you.

Forced animation movements from some weapons. I'm not really a big fan of this, but this is more of an issue for more melee weapons than range. Cupid's bow for example has a dash animation as part of its firing sequence. Without practice you'll end up stuck in a lot of places you don't realize has collision blocking from the terrain. Melee weapons like the axes, spears, and some sorts also have big windup movement animations which lock your character into doing something that can get you killed. Since you can't animation cancel that I can tell, this can lead to failed runs pretty quickly.

Speaking of which, no way to cancel animations or dash away. This forces almost all characters to get some sort of movement speed talents while leveling to get fast enough to dodge most of the mechanics in the game. Otherwise you'll be taking lots of random hits you have no way of being able to avoid.

No real meta progression. Besides unlocks of new characters, a few new weapons and talents, there really isn't much in the way of overall meta progression. Would love to see something added that is more permanent across all plays. Stuff like high chance of higher talent tiers or weapon tiers being dropped being a permanent meta buff through progression. Maybe some small base stat increases for all characters. Stuff like that.

Lack of a minimap or map overlay for such a huge map. This to me is a crucial over sight for a game like this.

Summons are a bit too slow overall and die too fast even with support talents. Either make them tankier, or have more talents that add to both summon survivability + damage in one talent. Summons in general can also do with better movement speed. I think their DPS overall is fine though.

There are a few other nitpicky things I'm mulling over but haven't yet 100% decided without having more play time if they are considered a pro or con to the game. May do an update post later about those. An example would be the the graphics. I think currently most players have love or hate feeling when it comes to the graphics here. Personally, I'm neutral on them. They aren't great, but I they aren't bad enough to bother me at all. Again, I like playing 16 bit style graphic games like Death Must Die. Good gameplay trumps graphics for these kind of games for me.

So far my favorite weapons in the game are Hammers, Cupid's Bow, LMGs, and Pink Sweethart. Eveything else hasn't been as good for me so far.

Would be nice if this became a go to section to report bugs and give general feedback to the dev's too :)

I agree with quite alot here , i've been mainly playing around with Summons thus far and gotta say, while they have potential for sure with ammount of em and what not, they could use abit Tankying up :) Damage could use a slight tweak, they do Seem to be squishy in all general But they do revive so thats at least good :D
However for them to do any good dps, i feel like there isnt enough Tank'supporty talents for them and i have seen their dmg fall off abit.

Map im not too fussed over as , if you play few times, you tend to memorize the locations :)
So unless new Maps come out, i dont think it needs a Minimap at least :)

Meta Progression besides unlocking classes and weapons and such, you get those pretty fast, would like to see some Permanent buffs to your stats or something :) Like Summon Specific Skill Tree/ Ranged Weapon Skill Tree/ Melee Weapon SKill Tree/ Elemental Skill Tree and so on :) Would make for some fun and interesting builds eventually ^^

There should be a lil dodge or something imo, sometimes it is hard to dodge some moves with no real way out, as it stands you can technically move out of the way if you see it fast enough HOWEVER alot of the times , there is soo much going on the screen that you just cant pay attention to everything at once :D And you end up getting hit by not even knowing where or what it came from.

Some Weapons could really use rework as CheckYourSix stated, some of them , namely spears and axes kinda lock you into a stand still and it does not feel fluid at all, most notably with the spears tho, while its decent moveset , i feel the stop at the end is not necessary at all and wouldnt mind seeing it changed :)

I think some characters could do with a second look at their "kit" for example, Queen Denise, i was reallllllly excited to get my hands on her, grinded as much as i could and did summon only builds purely so i could unlock and use her for that sweet dragon start, i was happy once i got her and tried her 1st talent , which is good... but thats the only good thing about her really.... big gripe comes with her other 2 Passives, Mother Of Dragons - just flat out seems to be bad, You get 3 Ghost Dragon Eggs at the start that seem to be slightly stronger than Normal Dragons However, they do not respawn once they die, making that passive Only good early and even then its not exactly worth it as there isnt a great way to heal them , even with that heal perk if a minion dies, as eventually those dragons will die and that will be the end of it.
Now Dragon Taming - That ability has reallllllly nice potential but as it is rn, its very clunky and bad :D
First off, the idea is soo gooood, i thought that once you get on your dragon, you could fly with it and attack where you aim with your mouse..... boy was i wrong, you jump on the dragon and fly up abit , then ur stuck in the air looking at a horrible camera angle and only way to attack is Forward on a Fixed Position X_X Now you can also "travel" by pointing your mouse at the fixed camera somewhere and you might get lucky to move your dragon somewhere safe (most of the time dragon just lands right under you basically and if there are mobs there, you could very well be dead, happened to me a few times now where i got instakilled cuz of this).
Now there would be ways to fix that ability, first off - id have it that when you mount the dragon, camera would not be right behind you and block you from seeing anything , rather it would be the same as it is the whole game and you could move with WASD and use Dragon's Breath attack on where you are pointing with the mouse , that would fix its Glaring issue #1. 2 - The Travel option for that, is similar to point #1, make the camera the same as it was originally and when you want to actually travel/land, make it so a minimap or something opens to pick a landing location (i had it a few times where i landed opposite side of the map , which was really nice to save myself from a horde of mobs coming for me and gave me time to adjust and revive summons) And voila If possible - these would fix the 3rd Perk alltogether ^^ but no idea what to do with 2nd.

Im Pretty sure some other characters have perks that are questionable for the fact you gotta unlock em , Specially for the harder unlockable Characters/Passives.

Game is amazing in general but could use lil tweaks there and there, I love that just about ANY Build in this game, is capable of beating the game on its hardest difficulty :)
Animations flow nicely and are fluid, at least for the most part, Hits feel nice and impactful, its a joy smashing or cutting through bunch of enemies at once with certain weapons :D
Id say slowly Expand the Weapon/SacredPower list , as Character list is pretty great Tho could never hurt with more :3
And lastly i love the boss fights too, great ideas went into them and are well balanced, with just the right ammount of challange!

In General I cannot wait to see more of what they cook for us with this game (hoping for more content updates) be it free or expansions to add on top , Like Hero Siege! :)
