Clicking out of the Game bug

I've noticed when I play the game it mostly happens when I'm fighting bosses in single player. When this happens there would be issues with movement from the character, I couldn't move the character at all or they wouldn't move in a specific direction. Ultimately I would get hit or die after this occurs.

I thought initially it was a size issue so i adjusted to fit my screen. i changed the settings from full screen to windowed and back to full screen. that didn't resolve the issue. I minimized all the windows that were open. But the game would still some how click on those windows as if they were open. Meanwhile the game would be still running in the background and I would be taking damage. This is how the boss on the trail would kill me every time. So I closed all the windows, and it still did it, only it would click on to the windows taskbar. So even with the windows closed it would find something in the background to click on to to disrupt the game and cause me to die. There needs to be a feature where the game will pause if this happens, and somehow figure how to get it to stop doing that.

I run Win. 11. 64 bit.
