Breaking walls and floors?

So I finally figured out how to break walls that have passages past them by using the ghost - Bruce Hagan, his ball and chain destroys the walls.

However, I cant figure out how to destroy floors, can someone tell me? I have the steam deck, is it a weapon and directional thing? Or a ghost or a ghost and a directional thing?
