Although GameMaker, the engine used to develop Bad Bots, does support Linux, it did not work well enough for the initial release of the game. The developer does hope to release a Linux version in the future.

(note: while "developer" shows up next to my name, I actually work for the publisher, Digital Tribe. Just thought I'd mention that to help avoid confusion.)

Thanks for the update johnkaiser! I forgot what the other game I saw that uses GameMaker but they said that YoYo was very responsive to fixing bugs with Linux. It sounds like they're making progress quickly.

Ah, the game I was thinking of was Stealth Bastard Deluxe. The dev passed on bug reports from Linux beta testing and Yoyo sent them updated versions with bug-fixes.
