Anyone know of any mods in the works now that DeathKeep has a Steam release?

I really think this game has a lot of potential to be a fun dungeon crawler. The old 2nd Edition D&D rules are great, it feels a lot like the Ravenloft games in that aspect.

However the way the game is now its, just unplayable for me. The movement is just so janky, and the controls, although remappable, just don't work well.

I really want to love this game like a Hexen or a Witchaven, it badly needs an overhaul mod. Graphics are fine as they are, I don't care to much about higher rez textures.

It really needs mouselook (not mouse movement) and the game speed slowed down just a bit.

If anyone has heard anything, or knows a capable modder, please respond and see if this can be done... This game could be a truly great experience with classic D&D with a little bit of love.

I'm going to stay active in these forums, but I'm putting the game on the shelf for now, I have tried really hard several times to tough it out and play it as released but i just can't do it.

I hope it can happen. It could be a neat little game still worth playing with some more up to date controls.
