Outside the Blocks

Outside the Blocks

I love it!
I don't remember how I came across this.. TikTok? YouTube? Somewhere at least, and as I tried the demo I loved the nitty gritty realistic feeling of everything.

The tutorial should be possible to disable or skip, or perhaps have a choice at the beginning whether you want to take it or not.
I guess it's nice for those who feel they need it, but being a 3D professional myself I didn't think I'd be stuck in any situation.. Because..

You've done a GREAT job making very intuitive controls. The UI is just right, I love all the variants of water and details on the surface.

I just wish I could make the bases larger. Having a scale slider would be great.

The music and the sound was a smart touch. Cozy. You get so focused on what you build.

One final thing, and I know this is a HUGE one, but would it be possible to let those of us who know a thing or a thousand about 3D modeling for game engines, make our own parts? I'd LOVE to use this to add to the existing building parts, but also to possibly present my own modular buildings.

Just like a studio, you could set the rules and requirements to make sure modelers know how to adapt to the game.

Regardless, thank you for the hard work. It is truly a gem already. And I'm shocked to read you were about to scrap this!

Continue, make this happen, and I'll definitely buy a copy :)

Hey!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the demo and that the controls felt intuitive.

Regarding the tutorial, you can skip it, but only from the first tutorial screen.

Larger displays - They exist, I just block them in demo. :)

As for custom content, I’m CONSIDERING adding Steam Workshop support, so players can create their own kits. It’s not confirmed yet, but it’s definitely on my radar!

Thanks again for your support and feedback. I truly appreciate it! :)
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think support for Steam workshop might be yet another great thing to push it forward for a long time! :) People love custom parts, buildings, props etc!
