Quake III: Team Arena

Missing pak files
I decided to download the base game and Team Arena for some tests, and I discovered that Team Arena is missing pak files. There are supposed to be 4 pak files, and they are pak0.pk3, pak1.pk3, pak2.pk3, and pak3.pk3. In a default Steam download, only pak0.pk3 is downloaded, and a quick SteamDB search shows that the content depot is missing the other pak files.

I've heard word that this game wasn't patched, unlike vanilla Arena, strangely. I found the missing .pk3 files here.

Yeah, I know. It's strange that the Steam version doesn't have those pak files yet the one on GOG does.

Maybe it will be patched if a Quake III remaster is done *fingers crossed*
