Sole survivor ending

I know there's already a way to be the sole survivor but i tried finding another way and i did...but the game stopped working.I managed to kill everyone before leaving the cave forever and Rita returned to the camp.I had 2 choices: go to the mountain or explore the island. I tried both and the screen turn pitch black if i choose the exploring option. If i choose the mountain option Rita gets to the mountain and starts climbing it but after i reach the sleeping bag the screen turns pitch black again.Is it just my pc or did the devs forget to work on this path? I'm not complaining. I really love Dyscourse either way and i don't wanna call the game devs lazy or anything but i'm interested in finding out if there's a way to continue on this path.
